6 unsung heroes of Stranger Things 3
By Madison Sago
We all have our favorite Stranger Things heroes from the show’s run so far, but we can’t forget about these six heroes from Stranger Things 3!
Spoilers for Stranger Things 3 to follow! Don’t continue unless you’ve finished the season!
Stranger Things 3 introduced us to so many new characters and situations that I don’t think any of us would’ve imagined. I mean, it was the show’s biggest season yet, so there were bound to be many new faces and situations for our favorite characters to go through. With the kids growing up, and the adults navigating life, these new faces either provided a breath of fresh air or caused some trouble.
That’s why when I think of the term “unsung hero”, Stranger Things 3 definitely comes to mind the most out of all three seasons. We talk a lot about Eleven, Hopper, Joyce, Mike, and the rest of the gang, but some of these newer characters really helped define the season as a whole. It’s not just the “new” people either. We got to see a different side of some characters we’ve seen before, and their actions in season 3 really helped pave the way for some of the most pivotal moments in the story.
One thing I absolutely loved about this season was the expanded role for some recurring characters in seasons 1 and 2. It was especially great to see Erica Sinclair team up with Steve, Robin, and Dustin and form the Scoops Troop to solve a mystery. I also loved getting to see Karen Wheeler lend some more support to her kids, which is something I honestly didn’t see that much of in past seasons.
Whether it was kicking butt in the Scoops Troop, solving a Russian code, sharing some solid coming-of-age life advice, or even giving us a little comic relief, these six characters were important individuals for the third season.
Let’s check out the six unsung heroes from Stranger Things 3:
