Marvel emerged as one of the biggest winners of Comic-Con this year as it announced their Phase 4 plans, including the plans for Loki and the Disney Plus shows.

Marvel is one of the major winners of San Diego Comic-Con 2019. President Kevin Feige appeared at SDCC on Saturday for an hour and a half Marvel Panel in Hall H and revealed all the information about MCU’s Phase 4.

Phase 4 is set to include five shows alongside five movies, beginning in 2020. Marvel threw a lot of star power and did a panel for the history books. The shows, which are set to premiere on Disney Plus, are called event series and will be tied to the movies. Get ready for even more commitment and a Disney Plus subscription.

Here is everything we learned about the upcoming Marvel shows from Comic-Con.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is set to premiere in fall 2020 and Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie will return to reprise the roles of Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson for the series, according to a report from Polygon. Daniel Bruhl as Zemo will also be back for the show.

Judging by the comedic talents of Mackie and Stan, we can hope that it’s a comedic show, otherwise, it would be a completely lost opportunity. This show will also serve as the first MCU series of the streaming service.

More from Marvel

Loki

A Loki-centred show with Tom Hiddleston has been on the works for quite some time now. The show is finally hitting our lives in the spring of 2021, according to the report.

The series will follow the mischievous adventures of Loki after Endgame in the timeline where he took the tesseract and vanished which created another timeline. In the story, he never turned good, and the last thing you know about him is that he got smashed by Hulk in Avengers (because that’s how time travel works and it is so complicated, so deal with it).

WandaVision

WandaVision is also set to come out in spring 2021, according to the report, and will star Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany. The show will pick right after the events of Endgame and will lead up to the new Doctor Strange.

It was revealed during the panel that the show is finally going to dig into Wanda’s character. Let’s be happy that she will have more than a few lines this time. The show will also feature Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau who is the daughter of Captain Marvel’s best friend, Maria. Elizabeth Olsen will also appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Hawkeye

We all are still not over the fact that Arrow is ending this year. But don’t worry, a less cool archer played by one of the greatest actors of our time is coming to TV in fall 2021. The show will star Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton and will also introduce Kate Bishop. The series will also explore his time as Ronan.

What If…?

According to the report, What If…? is a non-canon, animated series which will show us alternate takes on the existing MCU, like what if Loki had found the hammer of Thor? The first episode will be about what if Peggy Carter got the serum and Steve was a normal human love interest in her life like Peggy was for Steve, it does sound really fascinating. Numerous MCU actors are set to reprise their roles for this show.

Disney Plus launches on Nov. 12, 2019. Stay tuned for more information about the streaming service!
