Season 3 of Netflix’s popular American crime drama thriller is currently filming and we have all the details! Ready to travel to Ozark once again? Here’s everything you need to know.

In the last few years, Netflix has given us some of the best crime thrillers and Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams’s Ozark happens to be one of them. Starring Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner and Julia Garner, the show which debuted in 2017 is still one of the most-watched and loved crime shows out there and since its popularity is only growing day by day, Netflix renewed the show for a third season last year.

Yes, Ozark season 3 is officially happening and we are super excited! The Byrde family is prepping up to fight back once again and the production kicked off this May. The filming is still in process and currently taking place in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, according to WSB-TV Atlanta.

Jason and Laura are both returning to resume their roles as the Byrdes. Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Julia Garner, Lisa Emery and Charlie Tahan are coming back to play their respective parts as well. Following the pattern of the first two seasons, Ozark season 3 will land on Netflix with 10 episodes too.

What will season 3 be about? Well, it will pick up from where season 2 left us and take us further into the world of darkness. Showrunner Chris Mundy has revealed that season 3 will have the lead couple “dealing with outside force”. Wendy’s brother will also be added to the star cast of the show to cause a stir and turn things around, as reported by RadioTimes.

Mundy has also teased that the future of Ozark is strong and he will keep running the show for a few more seasons, at least till season 5. “We’ve always talked about it as five seasons. It could be four, it could be seven … but that always seemed like a good number to us.”
