Netflix at SDCC 2019: The Witcher, The Dark Crystal and more

Netflix has a lineup of shows heading to San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2019, including The Witcher, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance and more.

Netflix is headed to San Diego Comic-Con 2019, and their bringing two of their biggest upcoming shows with them to SDCC this year.

The Witcher and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance are the two big Netflix shows heading to SDCC this year, and both of their panels will be held at Hall H on Friday afternoon (July 19).

Created by Lauren Hissrich, The Witcher is based on the book series of the same name. Henry Cavill stars as Geralt of Rivia, and he’ll be at SDCC, too, along with Hissrich and the rest of the main cast from the series.

For those who don’t know, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is a prequel to the classic movie of the same name. The new series consists of 10 episodes, and it has an awesome cast. I can’t wait to finally learn more about this great series at SDCC.

The Order, the popular Netflix original series, will also be there for a panel on Thursday, July 18. The show was quickly renewed for a second season, and the cast and creative team will now be headed to SDCC for the first time to talk season 2 and what’s next at Belgrave University.

The team behind She-Ra and the Princesses of Power will also be at SDCC. Their panel is scheduled for Friday morning, July 19.

In addition, there are bunch of shows available to stream on Netflix that will be holding panels at SDCC. The Good Place will be there, along with a bunch of The CW shows, including Riverdale (we our readers will love that panel!), The Flash, Arrow, Supernatural, Black Lightning, Supergirl, and more.
