During the final moments of “Still Standing”, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) persuades Annie’s friends to leave their treehouse but she has to stay behind in order to prevent the undead from following. Alicia bashes her way through countless undead until one manages to knock her down. She doesn’t get bit in the process but a huge splatter of blood washes across Alicia’s face when she brings it down.

With the blood dripping down her chin, Alicia notices that the walker has one of the radioactive tags on it. When Alicia realizes what has happened, her fate is sealed.

Alicia isn’t dead yet and won’t immediately succumb to radiation poisoning but she’s definitely contaminated now. Blood from the undead is already contagious enough, adding radiation on top makes the situation even worse. Plus, it appears as though Alicia got the blood directly in her mouth so she’s probably infected as well.

What this means is Alicia won’t make it out of Season 5 alive. She’ll probably stick around for the Mid-Season Finale or a little longer — if she doesn’t sacrifice herself before then. Alicia understands what’ll happen to her now that she’s become infected with radioactive material, and a sacrifice play seems like a feasible end for the Fear The Walking Dead alum.

There is, however, a chance that Alicia could still be decontaminated and saved but we don’t see that happening with all the current obstacles in their way. Grace (Karen David) pointed out that even getting a drop of radioactive blood on someone can deadly. Therefore, it’s likely Alicia won’t survive much longer.
