The latest episode of Fear The Walking Dead foreshadowed the coming death of a pivotal character on the show and fans are not too thrilled about it.

If you’ve watched Season 5, Episode 7 of Fear The Walking Dead, then you know some rather troubling developments took place. There were some positive moments too but one moment in particular already has fans up in arms.

Towards the conclusion of “Still Standing”, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) positions herself between a horde of walkers and Annie’s friends. She takes them down singlehandedly without a care for her own safety, slashing away at the endless lines of undead until one falls on top of her. She’s not bitten, but when Alicia impales the walker’s head, a huge splatter of blood washes across her face.

Normally, this wouldn’t be a big deal. It’s just that Alicia notices the undead she killed is carrying a dosimeter tag. The sight is a sobering one because Alicia knows the risks of exposure. Grace (Karen David) emphasized how deadly even a drop of radioactive blood could be and Alicia got a mouthful. Alicia might survive if she’s decontaminated in time, though it looks like she’s accepted what’s about to befall her.

In any case, fans are not too thrilled about Fear The Walking Dead killing Alicia Clarke off. People were quite upset when the show’s writers axed Nick (Frank Dillane) and Madison (Kim Dickens) back in Season Four and a similar backlash seems to be sprouting up once again.

The episode only just debuted and there are countless tweets from people saying they’ll riot if Alicia dies. A small minority of viewers would disagree and are okay with the idea but most don’t want to see Alicia leave the show just yet.
