After binge-watching Stranger Things 3, fans around the world are wondering if Stranger Things has been renewed for season 4 at Netflix.

Netflix has not made the official announcement that Stranger Things 4 is happening, but it’s only a matter of time. After watching the new season, there is clearly more to this story, and it looks like Netflix and the Duffer Brothers want to tell that story. That’s the most important thing.

Another important aspect to the Netflix renewals is the popularity of the show in question. Stranger Things is Netflix’s biggest show, and it’s the biggest show of the summer of 2019. That’s basically all you need to know when it comes to this renewal. Netflix isn’t canceling this series when there is story still left to be told, and that’s just the truth of it.

This series has also become a marketing machine for Netflix. And, major players, like Nike, Coca-Cola, Burger King, Baskin-Robbins, and more, are in on the action ahead of the third season premiere.

So, there’s more story to be told, and this is the most popular show on TV right now. If that wasn’t enough, we’ve already heard from the producers of the Netflix original series that a fourth season is, basically, already in the works.

Unlike a lot of other shows, Stranger Things has been the subject of a lot of discussion regarding that fourth season and the future of the series. Executive producer Shawn Levy confirmed as much last year. And, since then, we haven’t heard anything that would make it seem like a fourth season was not in the cards.

The talk all started when the Duffer Brothers claimed the series could end after season 4. Later, Levy said a fourth season was definitely happening, and that there was a good chance that a fifth season would happen, as well, according to Entertainment Weekly.

"“The truth is we’re definitely going four seasons and there’s very much the possibility of a fifth. Beyond that, it becomes I think very unlikely.”"

Stranger Things is not like other Netflix shows. They have already proven themselves to be a money-maker for Netflix, and that’s not slowing down at all.
