The following episode of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD entitled “Collision Course (Part 1)” may seem like any other but there’s a very important aspect to consider. Continue reading to learn why.

In Season 6, Episode 7 of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, the main team finally come to an accord with Sarge (Clark Gregg) over how to proceed with the Shrike problem. Not everything is copacetic with each member but Mack (Henry Simmons) is ready to cooperate with Sarge if it means saving the world.

Warning! Potential spoilers for upcoming episodes of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD follow. Read on at your own discretion.

As for next week’s episode, the promo teased at the end of “Toldja” revealed that Daisy (Chloe Bennet) will be faced with making a major decision that may result in possible casualties. A spire comprised of the crystalline material can be seen sprouting out from the ground while Sarge/Coulson persuades Daisy to act, presumably to shatter the structure before it becomes unstable.

While we don’t know how part one of “Collision Course” will end, it’s the second half that we’re interested in. The reason for that is “Collision Course (Part Two)” will be the last episode of Agents of SHIELD to air before SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con) this year.

The event itself is known for promoting exclusive material for everything Marvel related so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see new footage during SDCC’ 2019. It’s unclear if an entire panel will be devoted to Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD but they haven’t missed a Comic-Con in several years so our guess is there’ll be some talk of the current season there.

Theories aside, the following episode entitled “Leap” will air while SDCC is ongoing. That could mean any number of things for the panelists’ discussions, though it seems likely that the AoS team will spend a decent portion of time talking about what happened in the “Collision Course” two-parter. They’ll also likely devote time to exploring the remaining three episodes that’ll air following SDCC’ 2019.

As far as what those three episodes will entail, that’s entirely a mystery to us. The good news is that a few vague episode titles provide us with some clues. Take episode eleven for example.

Season 6, Episode 11 is currently listed under the title of “From The Ashes” which suggests someone — or something — will rise after a dramatic confrontation.  The episode title could be alluding to a Shrike monster, Izel (Karolina Wydra), or even Sarge, but we won’t know exactly who until the next two episodes debut.

Lastly and most important of all, the Season 6 Finale has yet to be given an official title. Episode names are usually released in advance as you can see from the information posted above. But considering how the Season 6 Finale’s title is being kept secreted, it goes to reason that the episode title alone may reveal a clue about how the season wraps.
