A sequel based on the 1964 film Mary Poppins, 2018’s Mary Poppins Returns stars Emily Blunt as the iconic title character, who returns to once again offer her magical skills to the Banks siblings. Through the gift of song (of course) and other wondrous abilities, Mary Poppins guides Michael’s (Ben Winshaw) children through a difficult time as their family experience financial issues. But there’s nothing that Mary Poppins can’t fix.

Mary Poppins Returns debuted to positive reviews from critics and holds a 79% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film performed below expectations at the box office, but still managed to rake in a worldwide gross of $349.5 against a budget of $130 million. Not to mention, Mary Poppins Returns landed four Academy Award nominations and four Golden Globe nominations. Rediscover the magic and nostalgia of Mary Poppins when the sequel bows on Netflix on July 9.
