Stranger Things 3 new teaser: Ready for some fireworks?

New Stranger Things 3 teaser hypes the “fireworks” on the way in the new season! Only one week until Stranger Things 3 is on Netflix!
We’re officially one week away from the release of Stranger Things 3 on Netflix! The new season premieres Thursday, July 4, and we best most fans will be skipping their Fourth of July festivities to binge-watch the new season.
As if we couldn’t get more excited, Netflix just shared a new teaser for Stranger Things 3 one week ahead of the release date. We shared the video below.
For the most part, there’s not much new footage from Stranger Things 3. It seems like we’ve seen most of the footage from this trailer, but it’s been re-cut in a much more fast-paced trailer.
In the trailer, Mayor Kline looks like he is getting the crowd riled up for the Fourth of July Fun Fair in Hawkins. There’s a big marching band playing music, fireworks going off, and a rapid-fire arrangement of clips from the new season.
We do get to see a, I believe, new clip of Lucas’s sister, Erica, played by Priah Ferguson. In the clip, she’s telling Dustin you “can’t spell ‘America’ without ‘Erica.'”
We have no idea why Erica is saying that or why Dustin is talking about being “American heroes” with her in the first place. It’s been announced that Ferguson has a recurring role in Stranger Things 3, and that’s a bigger role for her than her guest role in Stranger Things 2.
Check out the new teaser below!
There’s so much to see in that short 30-second-plus trailer, including all the main characters, a monster, fireworks, the Fun Fair, and so much more.
I think we should just take a second and applaud how awesome the Stranger Things 3 teasers and trailers have been so far. They know exactly what the fans want to see to get excited about the new season. The buildup to the new season has been incredible, and I can’t believe it’s only one week away.
