After a wild start of the year over at Hallmark Channel, the cabler dusted off its shoulders and kept rocking with its hit original series and popular G-rated romance films like nothing ever happened.

Its biggest sensation When Calls the Heart may have undergone some high-profile changes, but the network’s other hit series Good Witch continues to scare up a family-friendly ol’ time. As the fifth season airs, the previous fourth comes to Netflix as one of the best new releases.

Based on the series of movies of the same name, Good Witch centers on widow Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell), who happens to be a witch and owns a shop called Bell, Book & Candle and runs a bed and breakfast in the fictional small town of Middleton. At the start of the series, the Radfords move in next door and are suspicious of Cassie and her daughter Grace (Bailee Madison). Over the course of the series, their lives entangle in mystical, magical, and — of course — romantic ways.

As previously mentioned, the 10-episode fifth season of Good Witch is currently airing on the Hallmark Channel and will most likely begin streaming on Netflix in one year’s time. But if you need a late in the game refresher on what went down in season 4, Netflix has you covered. T

here’s no time like the 4th of July holiday to dive back into your favorite series — or get started on a new one — and Good Witch is the perfect option. Don’t miss your chance to check out a Hallmark staple when it begins streaming on July 2.
