New on Netflix – Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
The Oscar-winning film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is now available on Netflix. If you haven’t seen this stellar film, now’s your time!
The wait is over Spider-Man fans! One of Marvel’s most successful animated films, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is now available on Netflix, as of Wednesday, June 26.
If you didn’t get a chance to see it in theaters, now’s your chance! And with Netflix losing films and shows left and right, watch it while you can! The film premiered in theaters this fall, and it was a monster success. This movie feels like it’s right out of a comic book.
The film follows Miles Morales as he goes from a normal kid to the web-swinging superhero. But as he finds out in the film, he is not the only one.
The film includes voices from Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfield, Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry, Lily Tomlin, Zoe Kravitz, Nicolas Cage, John Mulaney, Kimiko Glenn, Kathryn Hahn, Liev Schreiber, and Chris Pine.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is an artistic masterpiece with a thrilling story to go along with it. It’s so good it even won a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice Award for Best Animated Feature Film as well as an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. When the Oscars give an award to an animated superhero film, you know it has to be good.
Into The Spider-Verse is also on our list of the 50 best movies on Netflix, and it’s one of the 30 best movies you can watch on Netflix this summer!
And there is news of a sequel too. Last November, Sony announced that a sequel and a spin-off were in the works. The sequel would continue to focus on Miles’s story while the spin-off would focus on the female Spider-Woman characters including Spider-Gwen.
With Into the Spider-Verse making over $375 million worldwide, it’s easy to see why Sony would want to continue this franchise.
