The movie follows four best friends–Lily (Hale), Chloe (Prescott), Amelia (Shipp), and Rebecca (Awkwafina)–as they navigate the last two weeks of being high school seniors. Within the past year, Chloe has lost her older brother to a tragic car accident. The death has also affected Lily as the two were very close prior to the accident.

The girls are experiencing major life changes which puts a strain on their friendship. With everyone going in different directions after high school, they must find out a way to how to retain their relationships. Most of the tension comes between Lily and Chloe stemming from the death of Thomas. They must also learn how to overcome some of the issues they have been dealing with over the last year.
