There are plenty of excellent new releases heading to the streaming service on Friday, June 21 and here we’ve broken down all the full list of what’s new on Netflix this weekend. For starters, the thrilling German sci-fi series Dark is set to return for its second season this week. This show about time travel is vaguely like Stranger Things, only much more grim. It was an instant winner for Netflix, despite being a foreign language project.

Comedian Gabriel Iglesias is trying his hand at sitcoms in his new series, Mr. Iglesias. The show centers on an affable high school history teacher who has a soft spot for student misfits. Doesn’t sound super edgy but it should be fun for the right audience.

Do you love true crime? You might want to check out the Netflix original series The Confession Tapes. This series about possible miscarriages of justice will see its second season available to stream this weekend. It’s perfect for fans of other Netflix crime series like Making a Murderer or The Staircase.
