Murder Mystery is coming to Netflix tonight

Murder Mystery starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston is coming to Netflix overnight! The film premieres on Netflix at 12:01 a.m. PT on Friday, June 14.

Netflix’s new original movie Murder Mystery starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston is coming to Netflix late tonight. Will you be staying up late to watch the new movie?

Murder Mystery is scheduled for a 12:01 a.m. PT release on the streaming network. That means it’s not hitting Netflix until just after 3 a.m. ET. Even though it’s late, I’m sure there are some Sandler and Aniston superfans who will stay up to watch the Netflix original movie.

Murder Mystery tells the story of a husband and wife duo, played by Sandler and Aniston, who take a trip to Europe. While on the plane, they meet a billionaire, played Luke Evans, and end up on his yacht. When someone is murdered, Aniston and Sandler’s characters are blamed. Their mission is to save themselves and prove their innocence.

This movie looks like it could be the best Netflix movie under Sandler’s deal with the streaming network. The Ridiculous 6, The Do-Over, Sandy Wexler and The Week Of were not well received among critics, but they are some of the most popular movies on the streaming service. Murder Mystery definitely looks better than those movies, based on the trailer. There’s a real suspense story here, and I hope they can make it work.

This movie has an awesome cast led by Aniston, Sandler, and Evans. And, it’s directed by Workaholics star and producer Kyle Newacheck, who also directed the Netflix cult hit Game Over, Man. 

Of the recent Netflix original comedies, I’m really excited about this one. Wine Country directed by Amy Poehler was great and a big hit for Netflix. I think Murder Mystery has the potential to be as big.
