21. Lost in Space season 2

It’s been over a year since season 1 of Lost in Space premiered on Netflix and while there is no set date for the release of season 2, it looks like it could be either later this year or early 2020.

The first season of the Lost in Space reboot ended on a huge cliffhanger. For most of the first season, while the Robinsons were technically lost in space, they still had other people around. They were stuck on a planet but at least they had company and knew where the Resolute was so they could find a way back to the rest of their people

But that all changed in the season finale and will change in season 2. They have been sent to a truly remote and unknown point in the universe away from all of their friends.  And who knows how far away from the Resolute they are.

The only clue they have is the approximate location of the planet and that it has something to do with the Robot. So while there will be much fewer people in this new season, we might get robots?! It is definitely a fair trade. It will also be interesting to see how the family responds to this new environment, their new situation, and more robots.

Not everything is changing in season 2 though. The cast will be staying the same. Molly Parker, Toby Stephens, Maxwell Jenkins, Taylor Russell, and Mina Sundwall will all be back. This season will also have 10 hour-long episodes. Hopefully, we’ll get a trailer sometime soon.
