New details about Disney+’s new Loki series have been revealed in a new image. Take a look at what might be coming next for everyone’s favorite villain.

Loki fans, it is our time! While Thor’s brother might be “dead” in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (or is he?), that doesn’t mean we won’t be getting anymore sweet, sweet Loki content.

Disney just revealed the first look at the new series coming to Disney Plus, and it shows Loki traveling through time, according to a report from Collider.

For those who hadn’t heard, Disney Plus is giving the famous trickster his own show, and while most of the details are top secret as usual, one hint was revealed in a picture from Disney’s Investor Day presentation and shared on the Disney Plus Media site.

The image, which we have shared below, shows Marvel’s Kevin Feige with a clip from the new series in the background. While this normally wouldn’t be a huge deal, the image just so happens to show Tom Hiddleston’s iconic character outside a movie theater in 1975 with Jaws in the marquee.

Based on this picture, it looks like Loki will be traveling through time! The series has been described as Loki popping up “throughout human history as an unlikely influencer on historical events.” Does he stop Pearl Harbor? Save the Titanic? Find Amelia Earhart? We’ll all have to wait for the premiere to find out.

Disney has not announced the release date for Loki yet. We know Disney Plus launches on Nov. 12, 2019. There’s hope that the series will premiere on that date, but it’s not very likely, unfortunately. There’s a chance it will happen, but Disney Plus is also rolling out The Mandalorian on that date, and it seems likely they will stagger the releases of their new shows.

More from Marvel

And this won’t be the only Marvel series on the new streaming service. It will be joined by WandaVision with Scarlet Witch and The Falcon and Winter Soldier with Sam and Bucky, along with the Hawkeye series, which doesn’t have a name yet.

There are probably even more Marvel shows in the works for Disney Plus that we don’t know about yet. Netflix fans are obviously very interested in the possibility of Daredevil and the other Netflix-Marvel heroes coming to Disney Plus. We’ll have to wait a few years to find out about that, though.
