GLOW season 3 is coming to Netflix in August 2019

GLOW season 3 is coming to Netflix on August 9, 2019! Netflix shared the release date and first look images on social media.

Netflix just announced the GLOW season 3 release date! According to a report from Deadline, GLOW season 3 starring Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin and Marc Maron is scheduled to premiere on Friday, Aug. 9.

This is a little later in the year than we have seen GLOW so far. The first two seasons were released in June and July in 2017 and 2018, respectively. We were hoping to see GLOW season 3 in July, but with Stranger Things 3 and Orange is the New Black season 7, which also happens to be the final season, on the way in July, it makes much more sense to save this new season until August.

In GLOW season 3, the show is officially taking the road for their league’s stop in Las Vegas, according to the report. The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling are starting their residency in the Las Vegas, and based on the synopsis, it’s starting to take its toll on everyone.

Netflix also shared the first look at season 3. The streaming network released five new images from the season, and we have shared a few of those below.

After the news broke, Netflix also shared a teaser trailer for the new season like they normally do when they announce a release date for one of their popular shows. Hopefully, we’ll see the full-length trailer for season 3 soon.

It will be really interesting to see how the Las Vegas setting changes the show. From the synopsis, one can guess that the allure of the city may get in the way of the league’s success. It will also be interesting to see how these characters continue to exist in this world. There’s been a lot of drama so far, and that shared history usually has a way of popping back up in shows like this.

GLOW will definitely be one of the biggest new shows of the summer! Will you be watching season 3 in August?
