Keeping the month of animation domination on Netflix moving right along, another of 2018’s biggest animated movies arrives on your watch list this month. There are few things the world loves more than a new Disney movie, but maybe its a new Disney movie sequel. Ralph Breaks the Internet will be the movie on constant rotation in every family home this June since it’s without a doubt one of the best new release movies you’ll find all month.

Picking up six years after the events of Wreck-It-Ralph, the sequel finds Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) continuing their friendship and misadventures. The duo must travel into the World Wide Web to track down a replacement part for Sugar Rush, Vanellope’s video game, but they realize they are in way over their head to save the game under the guidance of the internet’s inhabitants. Ralph and Vanellope encounter everyone from the Disney princesses to Yesss (Taraji P. Henson), the algorithm of BuzzzTube.

Ralph Breaks the Internet earned positive reception from critics upon release, as reflected by its 89% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film also managed to top its predecessor’s box office earnings with a $529.1 million worldwide gross, versus Wreck-It-Ralph’s $471.2 million total. On top of its critical and commercial success, Ralph Breaks the Internet scored an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature but lost to another high-profile release also coming to Netflix this month. Catch up with Ralph first when he breaks Netflix on June 11.
