Millie Bobby Brown, who stars as Eleven in Stranger Things, admitted she knows how Stranger Things will, eventually, end, according to Digital Spy.

Millie Bobby Brown, like her co-star David Harbour, knows how Stranger Things ends. According to a report from Digital Spy, Brown is “very scared” for the ending.

Harbour recently revealed he knows how the Netflix original series will end. He was told the ending by the Duffer Brothers, and we have to assume Brown was also told by the creators of the show about how everything shakes out for our band of heroes in Hawkins.

The fact that she’s scared about the ending is… less than a good sign, but it’s not necessarily a bad sign. There’s a lot more terror to come to Hawkins. That’s what I’m picking up from Brown’s comments to Digital Spy.

Of course, Brown couldn’t go into detail about why she is scared for the ending or any of that. Brown and the rest of the cast are basically sworn to secrecy when talking about the Netflix show. Brown was also promoting her new movie Godzilla: King of Monsters.

More from Stranger Things

I don’t really want to think about Stranger Things ending yet. We just went through that with Game of Thrones, and all the predictions and guessing became a little too much.

Luckily, we probably won’t get to the end of Stranger Things too quickly. Stranger Things 3 premieres on July 4, but we know there is going to be at least one more season after that. Assuming there’s another 12-18 month gap between seasons 3 and 4, we won’t see the new season until 2020 or 2021 (or early 2022).

And, Shawn Levy, the executive producer and director of the series, wants the show to go five seasons, which means we could still be thinking about the Stranger Things ending in 2022 or 2023. That’s a long time to consider all the possibilities that could happen with this show.

With Stranger Things 3 coming so soon, I think fans will get a clear picture of where the show is headed. The first two seasons featured very clear goals. In season 1, the mission was finding Will. In season 2, the mission was saving Will and stop the Mind Flayer. Both of those missions were accomplished.

In season 3, though, we are starting with a clean slate, basically. We have some ideas about what will happen, yet Netflix, the Duffer Brothers and the cast have not revealed the direction the story will go next season. When they do that and we get to see their choices, fans will have a much better idea of how this series could end.

Stranger Things 3 is only about a month away! Stay tuned for more news about the new season of the hit Netflix original series.
