8. Is there hope for Eve and Maze?

Maze finally found someone she loves deeply. She and Eve made the perfect team up at various points of the story. I just wish that Eve had realized that Maze was all about her sooner. By the time Eve did realize everything, she also realized that she needed to figure out who she was.

I actually agreed with Eve’s decision. As sad as it was for Maze, Eve needs to know who she is as a woman. She was made for Adam and has spent time infatuated with Lucifer. It’s time for her to know who she is as a person on her own and what she wants out of life.

Does that mean there isn’t any hope for Eve and Maze? I wouldn’t say that right now. I get the feeling that things aren’t quite over with Eve just yet. She never said she was leaving forever and made it clear there was a chance she’d return. She also made it clear that she does have feelings for Maze.

I want to see the two have a happy ending – well, the happiest ending possible for a demon and the First Woman. Their relationship would bring plenty of drama for the fifth season, though. After all, Maze is getting it on with the woman who replaced her mother. Lilith was Adam’s first wife according to the show’s lore, after all.

If we get to see Lilith in the story while seeing Lilith’s demon daughter with the Other Woman, we could end up with a serious battle.
