10. How will Maze feel about Lucifer returning?

After all this time, Lucifer has returned to Hell. When Maze joined him on Earth, she’d originally planned to go back to Hell. This was just supposed to be a vacation and she was going to return with him at a later date. And then Lucifer decided not to return and cut off his wings.

For the last four seasons, we’ve watched as Maze has had to find her place in the world. She’s gone from bartending to bounty hunting just to give herself purpose. Hey, she even tried dating but it wasn’t quite working out.

She was angry at her king for not returning and not having a way to go back to Hell. However, there’s more for her on Earth now. She has friends, a “godson,” and there’s hope for love. She probably doesn’t want to return to Hell anymore, but how is she going to feel when she finds out about Lucifer?

Chances are that she’s not going to be happy. There will be a sense of betrayal and confusion. Sure, the decision was for the sake of Charlie and their friends, but Maze would have wanted to know before everyone else. She may have even wanted to return with Lucifer to make sure he was safe.

I hope we get to see her reaction early on in Lucifer season 5. If she is angry, I hope it’s only temporary as she goes through a sort of sense of grieving process for her king and her chance of getting back home, while also dealing with her feelings for Eve.
