1. How long will we see Lucifer as King of Hell?

We can’t expect Lucifer to remain in Hell forever, right? If this was a series finale, it would have certainly been one of those bittersweet ones but in a good way. Lucifer made a sacrifice to protect the world and everyone around him. There was no way he could stand the idea of more demons coming after his nephew, Charlie.

However, it’s clear there needs to be a fifth season. For some of the story, we’ll need to be in Hell. It’s time to see what Lucifer’s time down there is like and why it generally is so awful for him.

It didn’t look like there was much to do. He’s up on that throne away from the hustle and bustle of the various hells. He’ll set rules but that’s about it. It’s no wonder just looking at that shot that he will want to return to Earth.

So, when will that be? How long will it take for him to decide to put Earth at risk? Or, will he find someone else within Hell who is able to take over the throne? Will there be another angel who will take up the crown? Maybe he’ll just need to find a way to visit Earth now and then because of whatever is going on down below.

I do hope we get to see something of his time down there, and not just time making rules. One thing I hope is that the Lucifer writers can tackle the King of Hell role better than Supernatural has ever been able to do.
