Are you watching Dynasty yet? Because if you aren’t, you are depriving yourself of some seriously delicious drama and one heck of a good time. Even though The CW’s reboot of the 1980s classic struggles with ratings, it has become of Netflix’s top worldwide titles. If you’re a fan of Gossip Girl and have watched Manhattan’s elite over and over, you absolutely cling to the shocking exploits of Atlanta’s wealthiest family. Thankfully, the second season of TV’s most underrated (literally and figuratively) guilty pleasure arrives on Netflix to start your June in style.

Dynasty centers on the Carrington family, a rich-beyond-reason clan who runs an energy empire in Atlanta. The series begins with Blake Carrington (Grant Show) passing over his ambitious and driven daughter Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) for a high-up position at the family business in favor of his new wife Cristal (Nathalie Kelley). In the second season, the Carringtons continue to grapple with money, love, and excess as absent matriarch Alexis (Nicollette Sheridan) and long-lost son Adam (Sam Underwood) stir the pot at the manor.

The reboot comes from The O.C. and Gossip Girl masterminds Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, who have injected Dynasty with as much or more addictive drama than those classic series. Season 2 endured a number of casting shake-ups, with Sheridan leaving the role of Alexis open for recasting. Without even trying, the series has brought back the unexpected fun of 1980s primetime soap operas. Don’t miss all of the twist, turns, and humor of Dynasty’s second season when it arrives on Netflix at the top of June, and catch up with every episode before Season 3 returns to The CW in the fall.
