While Madam Secretary may be done for another season on CBS, there isn’t long to relive the experience. Madam Secretary season 5 is heading to Netflix in June 2019.

This was the season that saw Hillary Clinton appear in an episode so it’s definitely something fans have been excited to watch on the show. Despite the live ratings not being the best, the show continually receives praise from the fans for its excellent writing. And now you get to experience it all in full again (or for the first time if you wait for the show to come to Netflix).

Madam Secretary season 5 will be on Netflix on June 30, 2019, with all 20 episodes available. This is a little more than two months after the show wrapped up on CBS, so is about the time expected.

There’s some good and bad news with the addition of the show on the streaming service. CBS has renewed Madam Secretary for a sixth season. However, that sixth season will be the last. More bad news is that there will be only 10 episodes, half of the number of episodes during this season.

It’s not all that surprising CBS has chosen to bring the story to an end. With the lower-than-average live ratings, the series was definitely one of those on the bubble. Fans were worried that it would be canceled. At least the network has made it possible for the show to fully wrap up the story, tie up loose ends, and leave fans with the ending we deserve.
