The Ranch Part 7 release date update: Likely July or August

The Ranch Part 7, likely, is not coming to Netflix in June 2019. When is Part 7 coming to Netflix if not in June?

For months, it looked likely that The Ranch Part 7 would be released on Netflix in June 2019. Netflix just shared the list of what’s new on Netflix in June 2019, and unfortunately, The Ranch Part 7 was not on that list.

Obviously, that means Part 7 probably isn’t coming to the streaming service in June. It’s possible, of course, for Netflix to withhold the release date and then announce the show is coming in June at a later date. It happens from time to time with Netflix originals.

It’s looking more likely, though, Netflix will release Part 7 after June 2019. If that’s the case, when will Part 7 be added to Netflix?

The most likely scenario is Netflix will release the new episodes of the series in July 2019. Part 7 has been filmed, so it’s just a matter of time before Netflix releases the new episodes. July would be a great time for this series, too. There’s always a void of great TV in July, or there usually is, and The Ranch would help fill that void for many fans of the show.

This July is different for Netflix, though. Stranger Things 3 is coming to the streaming service on July 4. This show is going to be the biggest event of the summer, and Netflix doesn’t want to release too many popular shows together.

Orange is the New Black season 7, the final season of the series, hits Netflix a few weeks after Stranger Things 3. There are weeks in between where the new season The Ranch could premiere, but I don’t know that Netflix wants to roll out Part 7 in mid-July. That’s a great time for TV.

The good thing going for Ranch fans is that there’s probably not a lot of crossover between fans of Orange is the New Black, Stranger Things and The Ranch. I’m sure there are some that like all three shows, but I’d guess it’s a small percentage of fans of each show. With that said, Netflix probably won’t avoid Stranger Things and Orange is the New Black release dates like they would with some of their other big shows.

If The Ranch Part 7 doesn’t hit the streaming service in July, I’d guess the new episodes will be released in August or September. That’s a good time for a show like The Ranch to premiere, and since this the beginning of the last season of the series, Netflix will want to get the most out of this season. Making sure they time the release date correctly is important.

Obviously, the longer we wait for Part 7, the longer we’ll have to wait for Part 8. Netflix almost always releases each part at least six months apart. If we see, Part 7 is September, for example, we’ll probably have to wait until March to see Part 8 and the final episodes of the series.
