Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is coming to Netflix in June

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse starring Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, and Nicolas Cage is coming to Netflix in June!

Netflix shared some excellent news with Marvel fans! Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is coming to Netflix on June 26!

The streaming network announced the Oscar-winner for Best Animated Feature Film will be added to the streaming service in June, along with a poster for the new film. It’s one of the best animated movies I’ve ever seen, and I think many people will agree.

The film tells the story of Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), aka Spider-Man, who is forced to partner with spider-people (and animals) from other dimensions to try to save his New York City.

Into the Spider-Verse has an incredible voice cast, including Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry, Lily Tomlin, Luna Lauren Velez, John Mulaney, Kimiko Glenn, Nicolas Cage, and Liev Schreiber.

We thought the last new Marvel movie coming to Netflix would be Ant-Man and the Wasp, but it appears we were wrong. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is not distributed by Disney, and that’s why it is coming to Netflix. It’s actually distributed by Sony, like all the Spider-Man movies, and since Netflix has a deal with Sony’s animated division, Netflix gets the streaming rights to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

That should be excellent news for those waiting to see the best animated movie of 2019. It’s also great news for those who loved this movie, but they didn’t have the dough to buy the movie on Blu-ray.

If you like Spider-Man at all, you’re going to love this movie. Even if you hate Spider-Man, I think you’ll probably like this movie. There’s so much to love about it, and the animation is mind-blowing.
