New on Netflix in June 2019: Spider-Man, Black Mirror and more

What’s new on Netflix in June 2019? There are a bunch of new movies and shows coming to Netflix in June, including Black Mirror season 5, Designated Survivor season 3, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

May 2019 was an incredible month for Netflix with hit shows like Arrow, Riverdale, Lucifer, Dead to Me and more and movies like Wine Country, The Last Summer and Moonlight. Lucky for Netflix subscribers, June 2019, with a great slate of Netflix new releases, has the potential to be just as good.

There are tons of new movies and shows on the way in June 2019. The biggest new movie coming to Netflix in June has to be Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film. This new animated film hits the streaming service on June 26. The streaming network just announced the news on Twitter.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse tells the story of Miles Morales and other Spider characters from different dimensions who have to come together to save New York City.

If you’re a fan of Netflix originals, there are some great shows and movies on the way in June, starting with Black Mirror season 5 on June 5. There are three new episodes on the way in the fifth season, and the streaming network just revealed the episode titles and starring cast.

Miley Cyrus stars in “Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too,” while Anthony Mackie and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II star in “Striking Vipers.” Andrew Scott, Topher Grace and Damson Idris stars in “Smithereens.” All three episodes hit the streaming service on June 5.

It’s not all Black Mirror and Into the Spider-Verse on Netflix in June. We’re also going to get to watch new seasons of 3%, Designated Survivor, and Dark!

There are some great new movies on the way, as well, including Netflix originals like I Am Mother starring Hillary Swank, Tales of the City starring Laura Linney and Ellen Page, and Murder Mystery starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler.

There are some big new movies, other than Into the Spider-Verse, coming to the streaming service in June, including Ralph Breaks The Internet and The Grinch.

On the TV side, fans will be happy to know Grey’s Anatomy season 15 and Madam Secretary season 5 are also coming to the streaming service in June.

Netflix also shared that Marvel’s Jessica Jones season 3 will also be released in June, but they did not announce the release date.
