4. Will the teens get back home?

We got some answers of what had happened to the teens throughout The Society season 1. Now all eyes are on whether the group will get back home. There’s no school bus with a creepy bus driver (you noticed him long before Kelly and Becca did, right?) coming to pick them up.

Nor does it seem like anyone in the real world is looking for a way to find them. The names were all on a memorial plaque, suggesting that the parents believe that their children have just disappeared or been killed — or they knew that something was going to happen.

It’s going to be up to the teenagers to figure out what has happened and how they can get back. With the knowledge that the bus driver had something to do with it and that Sam and Campbell’s dad and uncle may have played a part, there’s hope that someone will be able to figure things out.

I doubt that Gordie and Bean will just stop researching because of the coup. However, I don’t think they’re going to work as closely with Lexie and Harry as they did with Allie. We’ll likely see that small group of friends working together more, as they figure out the next steps, keeping secrets from those in charge.

Will there even be time to figure out how to get back? The Society season 2 seems like it needs to be pretty focused on that coup, which is where the next question goes.
