3. Sabrina: The Teenage Witch

Sure, Netflix already has The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and don’t get us wrong, we love it! However, we miss the original live-action series starring America’s sweetheart Melissa Joan Hart!

As much as we love Netflix’s dark take on the iconic witch, Sabrina, we can’t help but miss the cheerful and bright Sabrina Spellman. Many fans of the iconic witch first met her in the animated series, so when a live-action take on the story was announced, we were ecstatic! Melissa Joan Hart’s series did not disappoint.

Though classified as a supernatural fantasy series, Sabrina: The Teenage Witch was also a sitcom. The lighthearted comedy played well and connected with viewers. Not to mention, Joan Hart was the perfect Sabrina.

Sabrina: The Teenage Witch premiered in 1996 as part of ABC’s TGIF (Thank God It’s Friday) line up. Nowadays, the networks big day is a Thursday. How things have changed! The series moved to The WB in the year 2000 before being canceled in 2003.

With Netflix now being the home of Sabrina, it makes perfect sense to have the original series stream there for fans to watch. You won’t find Sabrina there, though, her streaming home is at Hulu. But hey, as we said, at least Netflix has a more modern take on Sabrina.
