David Letterman’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction season 2 premieres on Netflix on May 31, 2019. None of the guests from this season have been revealed yet.

Netflix has announced the release date for David Letterman’s My Next Guest season 2. According to a report from Deadline, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction season 2 premieres on Netflix on May 31, 2019.

Unlike most Netflix shows, the first season of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction didn’t release new episodes of the season all at one time. Instead, Netflix released new episodes of the series about once per month. That’s changing for season 2, according to the report.

You can stream all episodes of My Next Guest season 2 on Netflix on May 31. Surely, Netflix chose to release all six episodes of the second season on May 31 to make the series eligible for the 2019  Emmys. Shows to be considered must be released on or before the end of May.

Barack Obama, Tina Fey, George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, Jay-Z and Howard Stern were interviewed by Letterman in the first season of the Netflix original series.

Unfortunately, Netflix has not revealed the lineup of guests in season 2, but you can guarantee there will be some huge names attached to those episodes. The streaming network is probably holding off to do a big reveal for these guests in a teaser or trailer for the new season. We still haven’t heard much about who will be involved, but I think it’ll be an awesome group of guests.

My Next Guest is clearly one of Netflix’s best “talk shows” yet. It’s a bummer we only get six episodes per year, but it’s definitely worth it. I’m interested to see if the success of this series will be the launch pad for other Netflix shows like it.
