They Come Knocking, the following installment in Blumhouse’s Into The Dark series has a new trailer. Check out our breakdown of the teaser trailer below.

Before everyone gets too mad at us, the trailer for Into The Dark: They Come Knocking hasn’t been released quite yet. Hulu normally adds videos to their official YouTube account before posting them anywhere else but subscribers to the streaming service get early sneak peeks. This time, it’s one of They Come Knocking.

What’s most interesting is that viewers who purchased the basic plans are the ones who receive access to these early trailers. You’ll have to sit through advertisement breaks to watch them but it’s well worth the wait, especially when you have new Into The Dark trailers to look forward to.

For the next installment entitled They Come Knocking, the teaser definitely piqued our interest. It begins with Nathan Singer (Clayne Crawford) taking his daughters on a road trip—their purpose being to unwind after suffering a tragic loss. Nathan, Claire (Josephine Langford), and Maggie (Lia McHugh) don’t seem to be having a good time, of course, that’s probably due to the emotional turmoil they’re dealing with.

After a short look at them drudging along the road, the trailer skips over to Nathan and the girls stopping to rest for the night. They go to bed believing they’re safe but the Singers awaken to disturbing sounds.

Just as the episode’s title indicates, they come knocking. Who they are is still uncertain but there’s an evil presence attached to the person stalking Nathan and his girls—that is assuming it’s even a person aggressively knocking on their door.

The synopsis for They Come Knocking confirms that there’s a supernatural element to the predators who’ve set their sights on Nathan’s family. This means the Singers could be in serious trouble. If dark entities intend to feast on them, Nathan may have to sacrifice himself for his girls’ sakes. Keep in mind that this episode is Father’s Day-themed in nature and the epitome of being a good father is essentially defined by someone who sacrifices himself for his children.
