The Ranch has finished filming the final season of the series. Ashton Kutcher and the rest of cast and crew celebrated with a wrap party recently.

Cast and crew have finished filming The Ranch season 4 and celebrated recently with a wrap party in Hollywood, according to a report from The Blast.

The report also claims The Ranch has finished filming for good. The fourth season will also be the final season of the series. Netflix has not confirmed this news, but this news has been reported, now, by multiple outlets, which is not a good sign for those hoping this show will continue.

The report mentions that the cast and crew would have continued the series with a fifth season, but Netflix was not willing to pay for more episodes of the show.

Sam Elliott mentioned The Ranch would be ending after season 4 in an interview with Variety around the Oscars. That was the second time we’d heard the show’s fourth season would also be the final season of the series. We haven’t heard much about it until now, but The Blast report confirms the show’s end.

The report also mentioned Danny Masterson, former star of the series who was fired after an investigation into sexual assault allegations, returned for the show’s wrap party.

There’s always a chance Netflix could change their mind and bring the show back for another season, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up. It sure feels like this is the end of the series.

Luckily, there are 20 more episodes of The Ranch on the way in the near future. Part 7, which was filmed last fall, is expected to be released next month, although Netflix has not announced the premiere date yet.

Part 8, which is the last 10 episodes of the series, just finished filming at the beginning of May. The last 10 episodes will likely be released on Netflix in December 2019.

Netflix should make an announcement on the future of the series very soon. I’m guessing that when we see the release date and trailer for Part 7, Netflix will announce the show is entering its final season at Netflix.
