The weekend is here and if you are looking for something great to watch on Netflix. Here are 5 good Netflix show recommendations this weekend.

The weekend is reserved for Netflix! At least it is in my house anyway. It’s a great time to get caught up on all the shows that dropped throughout the week, the only problem is, where did you start? Well, if you need a good recommendation for something to watch on Netflix this weekend we have five good Netflix shows right here.

All the titles released that I am recommending are Netflix Originals and all of them appeared in the 10 best new Netflix Originals for this month. Also, all of the titles are available right now as well.

One of them arrived at the very beginning of the month, while the rest arrived on Friday, May 3. it’s a good mix of titles as well with options for both the mini humans and adults.

1. Inspector Gadget season 3

Arriving at the very beginning of the month, Inspector Gadget season 3 is on for the little ones. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if there are plenty of adults out there who remember the 80s/90s series who will happily watch the modern day remake.

The new season will continue the adventures of Inspector Gadget, as he fights crime and solves cases with the help of his niece Penny and dog Brain.

2. Dead to Me season 1

Next up is Dead to Me, a brand new Netflix Original on the streaming platform. Starring Linda Cardellini, Christina Applegate, and James Marsden, Dead to Me is a black comedy series focused on Jen (Applegate) and Judy (Cardellini).

Jen is a tightly wound widow and Judy is a free spirited individual with a secret. The two form a powerful friendship with one another, one you just know will be filled with one great laugh after another.

3. Undercover season 1

Next up is a series based on true events, Undercover. In order to infiltrate a drug kingpin’s operation, undercover agents pose as a couple who spend their weekends at a campground.

A suspenseful and exciting thriller, it reminds me of the hit movie The Departed. The series stars Tom Waes, Anna Drijver and Frank Lammers. Expect plenty of laughs, but also plenty of thrills in this new foreign language Netflix Original.

4. Flinch season 1

I’ve got something really different for you now. A hilarious game show. Flinch season 1 is a British television game show that sees contestants take part on harrowing and hilarious tasks. Testing their overall bravery and sanity, the contestants are also judged in how they compete in each task.

5. Tuca & Bertie season 1

The final Netflix Original you need to consider this weekend is Tucan & Bertie. It’s a brand new animated series created by Lisa Hanawalt, who is also the production designer and producer of BoJack Horseman.

It’s a series about two bird women, an anxious songbird and a carefree toucan, who live in the same apartment building as one another. The two 30-year-old bird women share their lives with one another and we get to see it all in this unique animated comedy.
