It’s the first weekend in May, which means there are a LOT of great new releases to check out on Netflix. You won’t want to miss a single moment of the action, so here’s a quick and easy breakdown of all the new movies and shows you should be watching Friday through Sunday.

On Friday, May 3, the highly anticipated new dark comedy Dead to Me arrives on the streaming service. This series features Linda Cardellini and Christina Applegate as two unlikely friends. It looks twisty, dramatic and full-on bingeable.

Also premiering that day is the new Ted Bundy biopic Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. Zac Efron stars in this Netflix original film that has already been the subject of controversy for its allegedly light-hearted portrayal of the ruthless serial killer. Are the critics right or wrong? Another exciting new release out on May 3 is Riverdale star KJ Apa’s new film The Last Summer. This flick looks like your standard teen drama fare, following the story of a group of students navigating their last break before college.
