Failproof comedies

A comedy you can binge-watch in a weekend is sure to hit the spot, you can’t go wrong with it! And since nothing is more annoying than incomplete shows, we’re only sharing three classic comedies available in their entirety on Netflix:

  • New Girl
  • Friends
  • The Office
  • Thor: Ragnarok

I probably don’t need to tell you much about The Office, it’s a classic! But, just in case you’ve never seen it, know you can jump in at any episode and still get the gist of it. While the characters do have main and subplots, it’s not difficult to catch up and understand the stories. The same can be said about Friends, though this show is more plot-driven than The Office so you may want to start from the beginning.

There’s New Girl, a more modern comedy that just wrapped up last year. It stars Jake Johnson, Zoey Deschanel, Max Greenfield and others. If you’ve already binged Friends and The Office more times than you can count, definitely give New Girl a watch. The show is nonstop laughs and lighthearted comedy. Whether you go for New Girl, Friends or The Office, you’ll soon forget all about your Avengers: Endgame heartache.

Finally, the elephant in the room,Thor: Ragnarok. We know what you’re thinking, “what’s Thor doing on this list? The point is to forget about the Avengers, not rewatch the MCU” — but hear me out! Not only is Thor: Ragnarok basically a comedy, but it features the two main Avengers nothing terribly major happens to in Avengers: Endgame. Thor gains a few extra pounds and Bruce Banner basically becomes besties with Hulk. Rewatch it for the nostalgia and laughs.

And if this doesn’t work because you need to watch something that’ll do more than make you laugh, Netflix has that, too!
