3. Lucifer’s full powers will be on display

Lucifer is a Devil of many skills, but so far we haven’t seen very many of them. His supernatural skills, I mean. There has been much talk and some hints of his many skills in the bedroom and the office and the living room and… not much, on the other hand, has been said about his other skills.

If you read the comic books that the show is based on, you know that the show has been holding out on us. All we have seen so far is his ability to find out people’s true desires. You could argue that we have also seen his wings, Devil Face TM, and his immortality. I would counter-argue that these are not technically skills. All of the angels are immortal and have wings (as far as we know). The Devil Face is unique to Lucifer, but it’s not a skill.

In the comics, Lucifer doesn’t have to rely on Amenadiel to stop time. Lucifer is fully capable of manipulating time on his own. Not only that, but he can manipulate other things like, oh, energy and matter. Why haven’t we seen him call down lightning on someone yet?

Lucifer, god of thunder, has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?

Call him Dr. Doolittle because he’s been known to talk to animals and make them do his bidding. I suppose that it hasn’t been useful on the show so far, but they could have included his powers of telepathy or clairvoyance, which definitely would have been. It might have made some of the episodes shorter since he could solve the crime almost immediately or prevent certain things from happening.

Okay, I can see their point in not using those skills, but they’re still pretty cool.
