Michiel Huisman – The Haunting of Hill House

Ghosts, family secrets, and bone-chilling shots of an old house set the tone for this anthology series. Hill House was an instant binge watch and lit the internet ablaze for a few spooky weeks in October 2018.

The series was based on a Shirley Jackson novel written in 1959, following the lives of the Crain family. As children, they encountered paranormal phenomenon’s leading up to the eventual death of their mother, then a return to the paranormal when one of the siblings apparently commits suicide in the house years later.

Huisman stepped into Game of Thrones in 2014 as the second man to portray Daario Naharis after Ed Skrein departed the show in season 3. Unfortunately, Naharis hasn’t been seen since Daenerys set sail for Westeros and doesn’t seem to be apart of the show anymore.

Hopefully, we see Huisman as a different character in The Haunting of Bly Manor, which is the second season of Netflix original The Haunting anthology series.
