A solid Deckerstar romantic relationship

I love Lucifer and Chloe. I’ve loved them together since the first season. They grew from reluctant partners (at least on Chloe’s part) to strong friends who rely on each other. And, we’ve even gotten small (too small) glimpses into what a romantic relationship between them would look like.

Now, I know with this literally being the moment we’ve all been waiting for they can’t just have Chloe’s reaction to finding out that Lucifer is actually the devil be ‘cool, now let’s go on a date.’ She’s probably going to push him away a bit while she processes that her partner and the man she loves is actually the devil.

There is a bit of hope though that she won’t push him away too far because if there’s one thing Chloe appreciates, it’s someone who is truthful with her. And Lucifer never lied. He’s been telling her he’s the devil since day one, so hopefully, that will help her accept the truth and we can see these two characters in a romantic relationship for real this time.

Also, in the “Boo Normal” bonus episode, there was a quick scene between Chloe and Ella where Chloe says, “I have seen a lot crazier things. Like, a lot.”

This episode was supposed to air during season 4, and TVLine confirmed Chloe was talking about Lucifer’s true self. So we know that at some point, she will accept the truth.

The first episode of the season is called “Everything’s Okay,” which hopefully refers to Chloe and Lucifer’s relationship. Fingers crossed! It’s going to be nerve-racking to see how Chloe is going to react to Lucifer, but it might be fun when she realizes he’s not the only celestial being she hangs out with.

We can’t forget about a certain Lady Eve that’s making her way to Los Angeles. We know Lucifer and Eve have a romantic history, so is the first human woman known to mankind here to rekindle things with Lucifer and create a wedge between him and Chloe? Or maybe she just needs a favor, that is his thing. A girl can only hope! But seriously, if we don’t get a solid Deckerstar relationship this season, I’m going to have to channel my inner Maze.
