The devil is back… well, almost. The new season is fast approaching, so here’s 5 things we want to see in Lucifer season 4.

Lucifans, we are less than three weeks away from an all new season of Lucifer! Our favorite devil will be back on May 8, and this time on Netflix.

That means we get to binge-watch all the episodes at the same time, and that’s probably the best feeling in the world (although once you zip through a season, it doesn’t feel so great to be done).

But, we can stress about that later because season 4 hasn’t even started yet, so let’s just bask in the excitement of having all-new episodes soon! In case you haven’t seen the new teaser, check it out. You won’t regret it.

Even though I’ve loved all three seasons so far, I think season 4 is going to be the best one for the show because of the new platform it’s on. With Netflix being its new home, the number of episodes has been condensed to 10, but showrunners said they are most likely going to keep the running time at 43 minutes.

Sometimes the episodes or plotlines felt like they dragged a bit, and even executive producer Joe Henderson told TVLine he thinks having less episodes will be better:

"[10 episodes] Lets us concentrate the story and focus it, and that’s what’s really exciting about this. We have a really strong first half that is now going to make for an amazing story."

An amazing story is what these showrunners have delivered to us in past seasons, and it probably won’t be any different for season 4. With all the twists and questions we were left with, there’s a lot to unpack. Before we get into the 5 things we want to see in Lucifer season 4, make sure you’ve seen this recap video.
