7. Froning: The Fittest Man in History

If you ever want to see a freak of nature athlete do what he does best, this is the documentary for you. Rich Froning is seen almost as a god in the Crossfit community. Froning: The Fittest Man in History chronicles his journey to the top and what makes him so memorable.

Now, I’m not saying Crossfit is for everyone. In fact, I don’t like to do it myself. I don’t think it’s a good form of being healthy, but I think it’s an incredible sport. Keep in mind Crossfit is a sport, not a healthy way to live.

Now that I’m off my soapbox, watching Rich Froning snatch over 200 pounds and lunge 100-yards while holding it over his head is a spectacle to behold.

Not only that, but Froning manages to maintain a healthy home life and be an inspiration to all. Balancing work and family is always something people struggle with as they get older. It seems that Froning found a way to do it. He keeps his fans happy, but most importantly he keeps his family happy.

Rich Froning didn’t just come out of the womb a freak athlete, he had to work for it. He did have the mental desire, but he also worked incredibly hard to get where he is. He even battled through injuries to continue his reign as Fittest Man in the World.

This is the kind of documentary that seems too good to be true. It’s like watching fiction, but often times the truth is much more interesting.
