Get your summer body inspiration by watching these Netflix documentaries!

When summer rolls around everyone wants to look their best. It’s shirtless season after all. People are wanting to show off their hard-earned muscular bodies to their person of interest. Unfortunately, to get that gorgeous body, you have to work hard and eat right.

That means you have to skip out on those McDonald’s hamburgers in favor of a homemade chicken breast and rice. You put down your favorite beer and have maybe a single shot of vodka because it’s the lowest calorie alcohol you have with your friends. You have to say “no thanks” to the birthday cake.

Then after turning down all the unhealthy food, you have to wake up an hour or two early so you can go to the gym before work. You plan each day meticulously so you can hit the correct caloric deficit to lose weight.

A lot of people will find this to be a bit extreme. Others live for it.

The average person will just want to lose some extra weight in order to attain the coveted physique. To do that, you may have to stay in the gym a half hour longer. For others, it means going to the gym for the first time.

Either way, you look at it, you will need some sort of motivation to get started. You can always turn to YouTube, but the five-minute video probably won’t do much for you really.

That’s where Netflix comes in.

Netflix has been subtly building a repertoire of incredible documentaries about fitness in various degrees. This is excluding all their sports documentaries, which are quite numerous as well. I’m talking documentaries about people who are working out for the sake of working out.

The next 10 documentaries (and docu-series) will for sure fuel your workouts to bring your body to the next level.
