Washington: Grey’s Anatomy

Washington state has a surprisingly large number of great shows that are set there. Netflix subscribers should be excited to see that they can give their fix of The Evergreen State in just about every conceivable drama. Some really great runners-ups for Washington include the cult classic Twin Peaks, the satirical comedy American Vandal, the popular sitcom Frasier and the procedural drama The Killing. All truly excellent picks.

That being said, there is one series that consistently makes fans fall in love with Washington. The long-running medical drama Grey’s Anatomy is set at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital and we would definitely make ourselves sick if it meant we could visit in real life.

This popular series focuses on the professional and romantic lives of medical staff. It’s super dramatic, super emotional and you 100% won’t be able to look away. Long before This Is Us was giving Kleenex a sales boost, there was Grey’s Anatomy.

The Seattle weather might be rainy and dreary, but it’s the perfect setting for this moody series. Let those Washington raindrops wash away your tears, baby. Sadly, we can’t visit Seattle Grace in real life. Still, you can find several of the show’s landmarks in the city if you know where to look.
