Lucifer season 4: Netflix welcomes Lucifer in first promo, no release date yet
By Bryce Olin
Netflix shared the first official promotional video for Lucifer season 4, the first Netflix original season of the series. There’s still no release date for the season yet.
Your first look at the stars of Lucifer season 4 at Netflix is here! The streaming network shared the video on Twitter and their other social media platforms to thank fans for doing their part to save Lucifer.
The video features Tom Ellis, Lauren German and Inbar Lavi taking a break from filming season 4. Ellis, wearing a Netflix robe and sipping from Netflix mug, seems to be very comfortable in his new home.
Netflix picked up the series after FOX canceled the show after three seasons. The first three seasons were added to Netflix, and the streaming network ordered a fourth season as a Netflix original series.
Since the streaming service is not bound by the rigid restrictions of broadcast network TV, there’s been a lot of talk of seeing some nudity in the new season. Based on the promo, it seems like Ellis and the show are leaning in to what the fans want to see.

I was excited when I saw the video because I thought, for sure, this was the Lucifer season 4 release date. We still haven’t learned when the new season of Lucifer is coming to Netflix. It’s expected to be released on Netflix sometime this spring.
We picked out three release dates for Lucifer season 4 a while back, and the April release date has basically come and gone, so now we’re expecting to see the series on May 10 (the day FOX canceled the series) or June 15 (the day Netflix saved the show).
We’ll be sure to let you know more about the Lucifer season 4 release date when we find out! We hope you enjoyed the first promo for the new season on Netflix!
