A Series of Unfortunate Events season 3

The final season of A Series of Unfortunate Events was the first Netflix new release of the year. Season 3 premiered on Jan. 1, 2019.

The series follows the Baudelaire orphans as they try to evade capture from their villainous uncle, Count Olaf, played by the great Neil Patrick Harris. The show is based on the book series of the same name by Lemony Snicket (Daniel Handler).

The final season covers books 10-13 of the series, and it consists of seven episodes.

This show is one of my personal favorites. I read the books as a kid, and I think Netflix and the creative team behind the series did a great job with the show. There’s always a risk when adapting a popular book series, and Netflix’s show more than does the story justice.

If you still haven’t seen A Series of Unfortunate Events on Netflix yet, we highly recommend this series. It’s the perfectly snackable binge-watch that’s only 25 episodes, so you should be able to stream it rather quickly. And, it’s basically straight out of a Wes Anderson movie. If you like weird and quirky, this is the show for you!

As mentioned, A Series of Unfortunate Events is not coming back for another season. Enjoy the three seasons on Netflix now!
