Netflix shared the official trailer for Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Vile and Evil, also known as the new Ted Bundy movie starring Zac Efron. The Netflix original movie will be released on May 3, 2019, exclusively on the streaming service.
In the film, Efron plays Bundy, the serial killer. The movie is told from the perspective of Bundy’s “longtime girlfriend” Liz, who didn’t believe all these things Bundy did for a long time, according to Netflix.
The movie has an excellent cast with Efron, Lily Collins, Jim Parsons, John Malkovich, and many more talented actors. Joe Berlinger is directing the Netflix original film.
To me, this movie looks horrifying. I don’t know if it’ll be on my list. I don’t have much of an interest in serial killer stories, so Mindhunter wasn’t much of my jam either. But, I recognize this movie should be very popular among the true crime fans with Netflix subscriptions, and there are a lot of people out there who like these types of shows and movies.

Netflix is also the home of the new Ted Bundy documentary series. Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes created a lot of buzz on social media a few short months ago. Netflix picked up the rights to the Ted Bundy movie shortly after the success of the documentary series.
If you’re going to watch this movie and need some more background, you should watch the Netflix documentary series.
