April is another month, which means we have another round of Netflix originals on the way. I feel like I’m saying this almost every month, but Netflix has once again outdone themselves with their original content. Trying to decide on who the 10 best new Netflix originals in April 2019 are has been quite a challenge.

There are some obvious, no-brainer, Netflix originals on the list. The rest are hidden gems that haven’t been talked about a huge amount compared to the levels of press other originals have received.

Netflix seems to have gone for a wide range of genres this month with its original content. The only genre I think is missing is a musical number.

10. Trolls: The Beat Goes On! season 6

First up on the list of best new Netflix originals coming in April 2019 is Trolls: The Beat Goes On! season 6. The animated series based on the hugely popular animated movie by Dreamworks Animation is back with its sixth season.

This is great news for all the parents out there who are in desperate need of something new for their kids to watch on Netflix. If you’re not a parent, then you don’t understand the horror of having the same thing played over and over and over. It’s our own personal hell.

But, come April 9, the new season will be available to stream, and parents around the world will get a reprieve from hell until the cycle starts over again.

We’ll take what we can get, though.

The new season will continue the upbeat adventures of Poppy, Branch, and all the other trolls who live in troll village. With the aim of keeping the upbeat party going in the forest.

Netflix dropped an official trailer for Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, and it shows how season 6 will be filled with music, laughter, glitter, and adventure. As they tackle birds who try to get nectar out off the troll’s hair, Branch trying to remain so serious, and much more.

The kids are going to love it, which means parents are going to love. Take note everyone. Trolls: The Beat Goes On! season 6 arrives on April 9.
