The Perfect Date starring Riverdale’s Camila Mendes and Noah Centineo of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is coming to Netflix in April.
Netflix has another great romantic comedy coming next month! The Perfect Date starring Riverdale’s Camila Mendes, Austin and Ally’s Laura Marano, and Noah Centineo of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is coming to Netflix on Friday, April 12.
The streaming network officially announced the news on Instagram, according to a report from Cosmopolitan.
The Perfect Date tells the story of Brooks, a young man who creates an app that, basically, allows young women to rent him as their boyfriend for a certain amount of time. It’s a rent-a-boyfriend movie. Obviously, though, somewhere along the line, real feelings will develop, and then what?
You’ll find out on April 12!
We still haven’t seen the trailer for the movie yet. Netflix will likely share it a week or two before the film is released.
I don’t know about you, but to me, it sure feels like Netflix is on a role with rom-coms lately. The Kissing Booth and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before are two of the biggest Netflix original rom-coms, and they are both getting sequels. We’ve also seen Alex Strangelove and Sierra Burgess is a Loser and a few others take off on the streaming service.
The Perfect Date, which has an outstanding cast, should be another incredibly popular rom-com, and we’re excited to see what this film is all about.
Netflix is now stacked back-to-back weekends in April. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 2 premieres on April 5, and you’ll have a week to stream the new episodes before this movie comes out.
If you like romance, Netflix is ramping it up this spring. Stay tuned for more for news about The Perfect Date!
