Netflix viewers watch two hours of Netflix per day

Netflix viewers watch an average of two hours of TV shows and movies on the streaming service every day, according to Netflix’s Cindy Holland.

How much Netflix do you watch per day? It’s probably somewhere around two hours.

Netflix’s Cindy Holland revealed as much at the INTV Conference in Jerusalem, according to a report from Variety.

Like usual with Netflix, we don’t get a look at the actual figures and what those people were watching. Netflix usually keeps this information secret, so we have to take these words without any context.

Thinking over the number, I think it makes sense. Obviously, there are people like me and the rest of the Netflix Life team who watches at least a few hours of Netflix per day. Depending on if there’s a new show I want to binge-watch, I could watch as much eight hours in a day. And, sometimes I just have The Office on all day long. What can I say? I love The Office!

I don’t think I’m alone there. We already know The Office, Friends and other licensed shows, along with Stranger Things, are always some of the most-watched shows on the streaming service around the world. I have to imagine there are tons of subscribers binge-watching those top shows over and over on the streaming service.

Interestingly enough, Holland also added that Netflix has geared a lot of their programming toward the teen and young adult demographics, an area that was often left behind with traditional networks, who were making shows for older audiences. I think that’s where a lot of the binge-watching is taking place, and that works well for the streaming network. It’s also one of the reasons why I think the world’s biggest streaming network, unlike other streaming services, are set up well to survive the next phase of the streaming boom.

The streaming network is already part of the routine, and I don’t think that’s changing anytime soon. On top of that, it’s only becoming more popular around the world.
