She’s Gotta Have It season 2 is coming to Netflix in May 2019

Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It season 2 starring DeWanda Wise is coming to Netflix on May 24. Netflix shared the release date for the new season in a teaser trailer.

She’s Gotta Have It season 2 is coming to Netflix very soon! According to a new teaser posted on YouTube and social media, Netflix announced She’s Gotta Have It season 2 will be released on Friday, May 24.

It’s been a while since we have heard anything about the new season of She’s Gotta Have It. The series, which is based on the Spike Lee film of the same name, premiered on the streaming service in November 2017. The series stars DeWanda Wise as Nola Darling. Wise is also starring in the new Netflix rom-com Someone Great with Gina Rodriguez and Brittany Snow in April.

According to Netflix, the second season of the series will be nine episodes. Anthony Ramos, Lyriq Bent, lfenesh Hadera, and Cleo Anthony star in the series. We’ll probably see a few more familiar faces in the new season.

It’s been a big 18 months for Lee and Wise after She’s Gotta Have It premiered on Netflix. Lee recently won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for BlackKklansman. Wise, on the other hand, was going to star in Captain Marvel, but she had to leave the project to film She’s Gotta Have It season 2, according to a report from Deadline. She’s such a great performer, and it’s only a matter of time before we see her leading blockbuster movies.
